From an early age, my son thoroughly enjoyed attending football classes.
As a dad, I loved watching him develop technical, social and psychological skills as well as benefiting from physical exercise. So, when he outgrew those classes, it was frustrating to find that many local clubs were already oversubscribed and couldn’t offer him a place in a team.
Thankfully, I found two other dads in a similar situation and Sandridge Rovers Juniors offered us the platform to build a team!
The club helps finance parents through the FA’s coaching badges. It also helps in acquiring the equipment and venues needed to provide grassroots football for kids in our local community.
I have two boys, thankfully Sandridge Rovers Juniors has afforded them both an opportunity to thrive and enjoy their passion for football within the local community.
